Punjab Food Authority Director General Captain (R) Muhammad Usman directed officials to complete civil work and other arrangements of FM Radio as soon as possible. He also directed to prepare content for radio programs to be broadcasted on it.
These directions were issued by Director General while visiting a FM Radio building to review the arrangements and progress here on Wednesday. He was accompanied by PFA ADG (Operations), Director Public Relations and Awareness, Director Vigilance and other officials. During the visit, PFA Director Public Relations and Awareness Hafiz Qaiser Abbas briefed the progress of FM Radio.
On the occasion, DG Muhammad Usman said that PFA would provide awareness among the public regarding food-related issues. He said that PFA will prepare programs on food awareness topics by catering people from all age groups. He said that the aim of FM is to highlight the information of a healthy diet for people of all ages. He further said that radio will help to choose better food along with to ensure the provision of standard food.
