Punjab Food Authority Director General Captain (R) Muhammad Usman on Tuesday paid a surprise visit to the Township area to check the performance of the field team who were conducting a survey to judge the consumption and demand for pasteurized milk.
Muhammad Usman consisted of survey teams have visited door-to-door in order to make this project and gave awareness to citizens about the pasteurization. He also distributed informative literature among the people during his visit.
Muhammad Usman has thanked citizens for showing confidence on Punjab Food Authority. He said that citizens appreciated the authority for taking initiatives for the public interest. He said that the survey would be conducted in the other areas of the city after completing the survey in the Township. The PFA in collaboration with Livestock department is conducting a survey to assess the consumption for pasteurized milk. He said that pasteurized milk would be supplied in those areas where people would show more interest in this project. The execution of the pasteurization law is the only solution to stop the supply of adulterated milk. The sale of loose milk would be completely banned in Punjab after the year 2022 as per the directions of Prime
Minister Imran Khan.
