Food Business Operators will go behind the bars on account of adulteration from now: DG PFA


 The Punjab Food Authority Director General Captain (R) Muhammad Usman has directed officers to cancel the food licence and register a case against the accused in the respective police station in case of proved adulteration. He also directed operation wing to constitute special task force for taking action against food business operators on the tip off vigilance cell.

All these directions were given in the meeting that was chaired by Captain (R) Muhammad Usman, Director General PFA, at his office. The meeting was attended by Additional Director Generals, Directors and concerned officers of the authority.

DG PFA has reviewed the progress of the operation wing and directed to take strict action against violators without any discrimination and prejudice. He said that PFA will directly sent violators into jail with the help of police in case of resistance from other side. He also directed to be configured a schedule for checking of an essential commodities step-by-step.

Captain (R) Muhammad Usman to be chaired another review meeting of licence and technical wings at PFA Headquarter on Sunday (today).
