KPK Health Services Academy delegation meets with DG PFA Muhammad Usman


 A 60-member delegation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Services Academy met with Punjab Food Authority Director General Captain (R) Muhammad Usman on Wednesday.

The authority briefed the meeting about the positive effects of PFA’s work on the health of the public. Officials also gave a briefing about regulations, administrative affairs, management structure and progress of PFA. On that occasion, Muhammad Usman said that PFA is giving a special focus on the food, especially essential commodities in order to ensure the provision of healthy and safe food for the public in Punjab. He said that PFA constituted special teams for the checking of water, milk, and meat. The ratio dropped of foodborne illness due to take preventative measures to control adulteration in food.

Dr Yad Ullah said that PFA is a role model for others due to deliver a commendable work in a short span of time. He also appreciated PFA for helping food authorities of other provinces of Pakistan.
