PFA conducts “First Aid” training workshop for employees


The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has arranged two-day first aid training workshop for its employees at PFA Headquarter here on Wednesday.

The trainers of Pakistan Red Crescent have conducted several sessions and informed participants about standardized quality first aid. In the first aid program, trainers educated the attendees concerning the basic emergency management of cardiac arrest, shock, bleeding and biting of poisonous reptiles or animals, said DG PFA. Muhammad Usman said that participants got practical demonstrations about first aid in an emergency situation. He said that trainers responded to the question asked by the participants. He further said that it is necessary for all citizens to know that how to give first aid.

DG PFA added that operation wing officers and employees of PFA would be trained about first aid in the second session. He said that participants learned how to recognize sign of a problem and how to prevent a crisis from happening by keeping in limited sources.
