PFA hears 2,155 cases in last two months, facilitates people through skype & online hearings


The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has heard as many as 2,155 cases of different food-related issues at PFA Headquarter during last two months that referred by different districts of Punjab.

This was informed by PFA Additional Director General Headquarter Wing Lubna Usman while presenting a performance report in front of PFA Director General Captain (R) Muhammad Usman here on Monday. According to report, PFA has heard 376 cases of Central Lahore Region, 321 cases of North Rawalpindi Region and 295 cases of South Region in September. As well as, PFA North Region and South Region have referred 379 and 352 cases respectively in October.

DG Muhammad Usman said that normal cases were heard online in the respective district for the convenience of the public. He said that online hearing facility is available only for normal cases. The online hearing facility was given to the food business operators to save their travel time. Meanwhile, adulteration cases heard by DG Food Authority Muhammad Usman.
