PFA officers will attend training on ‘Post-Harvest Technologies’ in Thailand


The Punjab Food Authority’s two officers will attend an international training course in Thailand on Post-Harvest Technologies in November 2019. The training will be held by the Thailand government.

In this connection, PFA Director General retired Captain Muhammad Usman has conducted interviews of shortlisted candidates at his office on Wednesday. He said that the selected candidates will study food safety issues during the tour which usually created after ready crops. The director general said that the purpose of the course is to enhance the practical ability and capacity of the officers, to aware them about modern parameters and tools. He further said that officers will play a vital role in legislation concerning food processing after getting training. He added that this course will also help them to learn new trends regarding food storage.
