PFA redresses 100% pubic complaints amicably


 The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has set new a record to redress 100 percent public complaints in last one year.

Out of 10,220 complaints, 8167 public complaints received on PFA Portal and 2,053 complaints through Pakistan Citizen Portal of Prime Minister. PFA Director General Captain (R) Muhammad Usman said that Punjab Food Authority is working on fast track basis and 9,536 of the received complaints have been completely redressed amicably so far, while remaining complaints are under process. He said that people can register their food-related complaints on PFA’s Website, Helpline, Facebook and Twitter along with PM Portal for swift redressal. He said that the procedure has been displayed in 36 District Offices of PFA to register a complaint.

The director general further said that anyone can directly approach him on every Saturday from 11am to 3pm under the Open Door Policy. He said that the Punjab Food Authority Complaint Cell is providing a useful and effective platform to people for resolving their problems as soon as possible. He said that the authority is considering to form special response teams for becoming more effect of this system and to redress citizen’s complaints in time.
