PFA will start step-by-step inauguration of Nutrition Clinics from next week


Punjab Food Authority is ready to deliver its promise concerning to provide nutrition clinics in 36 districts of Punjab. While PFA will start step-by-step inauguration of clinics from next week.
In this connection, a meeting was held between provincial minister for food Samiullah Chaudhry and PFA Director General Captain (R) Muhammad Usman to review the preparations for clinics inauguration, at PFA Headquarter on Tuesday. The authority will request Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar for giving his precious time for the inauguration of the clinic.
Minister for Food Samiullah Chaudhry said that the formation of nutrition clinics are part of the completion of Healthy Punjab Mission. He said that there is a dire need for people to have knowledge about the selection and use of good food for building a healthy society.
DG Muhammad Usman said that awareness about the treatment through food is an admirable work in order to control diseases. He further said that PFA is playing a vital role to promote a healthy food culture among people through Facebook live programme titled “Ghaza Ki Baat”.
